We all have role to play when it comes to reducing environmental impacts. You can be a part of the change even with small actions, example meaningful purchases, taking care of your clothes & when you no longer need them, you recycle them into a new good family. Wear the change for a better future.

FABRICS & LABELS.

Because of unique sourcing our fabrics are one of a kind. Our fabrics are either high quality excess from different companies, repurposed from flea markets or sourced responsibly. Many of our fabrics are knitted in Orivesi, FIN. & are organic cotton or recycled cotton. Fabrics are colored in Poland & yarns are from Turkey.

The quality & material of the fabrics are always reviewed because they are sourched by hand. Please notice that some of the pieces may show differences due to extensive sourcing.

Our size/care labels are recycled PET. Other labels are high-quality “Woven Labels” which are very soft & durable.

BEHIND THE SEAMS.

Our clothes are made by hand with professional craftsmanship. Most of our clothes are made in Kuopio, Tampere or Helsinki, FIN. by companies named KUKACO, Millimetri & Grubbo Carinos. They provide responsible & transparent option for our production. Some of the more special clothes are made in different places due to the availability of the fabrics & the professionalism of the production. Example Seam Blazer is made in Jyväskylä, FIN.

WASTE MINIMIZATION.

We minimize leftover fabric. Sewing patterns has been modified uniquely for each product so the fabric is used as efficiently as possible. If still excess fabric occurs we use it in the production chain to the best of our abilities (we make them tops or different accessories, for example) & the rest of them we recycle properly.

In addition we don’t produce beyond need or demand. Our collections are often limited quantity & unique which means the production volumes are small.

We also do collections for made-to-order so production meets demand & no waste occurs. Also with accurate size information, unique sizing / dimensions we hope to minimize customers’ wrong size purchases & returns.

PRINTING & EMBROIDERY.

Our clothes are printed & embroidered by hand in small shops in Finland.

Printing happens mostly by silkscreen printing technique which is very effective & long lasting. Screen printed clothes last within the lifespan of their regular use. It also does not contain nearly as many chemicals as other printing methods. Embroidery in the other hand is very durable & effective.

TRANSPARENCY.

We have nothing to hide so all of our actions are transparent. We want our customers to know what they are paying for. Our products are priced as they are because everyone gets their faire share & we strive to do everything responsibly as possible. Many different costs are included in our products, such as design & development, sampling, raw materials, logistics costs, webshop & packaging costs, taxes, marketing & freelancer salaries. Just the production of our “365 Hoodie” (incl. materials) costs 67,45€ (retail 179,95€). Transparent pricing for other products can be found on the respective product pages.

Sustainable clothing may cost you more, but less for our future & environment.

Our shipping method is “Posti Green” which is carbon neutral in Finland.

You can also pick-up your order from Jyväskylä.
